Twenty years before the Eschaton?

The Eschaton, the Singularity, Apocalypsos.

In many spheres of human expansion we head rigth towards it. Wether we talk of xtians parousie, or Mayan great cycle ending in 2012, or technological singularity, or the fifth aeon of Horus, or geopolitical clash of civilisations, or peak oil and the end of industrial civilisation, ... we feel something big is comming up.

And yes, except for an accident, my generation will live through it. It's a matter of 20 to 30 years at most, 2020 to 2035 max. The next generation will be born in it and won't know the difference except for edutaintment virtual realities specialy engineered to reinforce cyborg hive-esteem.
